We had a wonderful Fathers Sabbath day in Paradise!
We started off the morning heading to the cute ward of LaHaina...where we learned their stake included all of Maui, Molokai and Lanai! Crazy stake boundaries!

There was a sweet lady who gave a talk on Father's Day whose father had passed away just 2 days previously! They had also lost another member of the ward that week and you could feel the closeness of the ward. I love visiting wards when we are away, knowing the church is the same and faithful members around the world are taking the sacrament, preparing talks and lessons, etc.
Being in Hawaii on Fathers Day was extra cute as all the father's had on gorgeous lei's...wish I could have taken pictures of them! AND I had brought the Hawaiian nut necklaces and FORGOT to give them to Scott before church!
View from the chapel.
We enjoyed watching the US Open where Phil Mickelson {our favorite player} almost won for his first time...he has come in second in the US Open more times than anyone else ever. That's ok Phil...you are great!
Grandpa sent Ryan downstairs with his mitt and threw tennis balls and baseballs down to Ryan - who caught every one!
And they all played some catch before we our yummy dinner and before we went out to explore the island!
Nakalele Blowhole! I didn't get a fantastic picture of how big the blowhole sprayed up, but you can get the idea!
And it was crazy windy here! But such a view!Look at all the shirts and especially Kyle's hair...to see the wind factor going on here!
Father and Son on Father's Day in Kapalua.
Notice the natural bridge in the rock! So pretty!
We were so excited to explore the tide pools in Hawaii...only to discover that the rocky water pools do not attract much sea life! We found a crab and a few sea urchins...and that's all! No anemones or hermit crabs! I was super surprised!
This spot actually had a little plant growth in the pool, but most of the tide pool areas didn't even have that!
Cade touching to urchin pokies.
We checked out the Ritz in Kapalua...Where we saw this hammock...earlier that day we asked Kyle if he would nap...Grandpa suggested a bed { Hammock} between two palm trees...Kyle said that would be the only place he would nap...and we found it! But much later than napping time:)
Of course we needed to try it out!
Such fun a fun Father's Day! Time hanging out together, watched a little golf, explored gorgeous Maui, delicious dinner: Near Perfection!
