Friday - first day of no training wheels. Totally can ride - just needs help starting.
Saturday - we went on a 3 mile bike ride - with no training wheels...the trip was long for a little dude who'd just learned to ride...he got hot and hungry. He had less confidence because of the hills. Scott helped with the harness. Thought he might want training wheels back on because he couldn't ride all by himself...we told him that the ride was too long and hard for the second day of riding.
Sunday - a day of rest
Monday - he decided to practice starting. With mom's hand on his shoulders 2 times, he'd got it!
and perfected his new skills - starting and stopping!

Wow, that is very impressive! Good job Seany. Can he stop too? I can't believe you all went on such a long ride, I remember doing those as a kid... lots of fun and very tireding. I bet they slept great that night (an added bonus). I seriously cant wait to live in a place where we can spend ALL day outside.

Pretty impressive! Learning in 3 days! Not bad at all. Your boys are so cute and such little boys!
Oh and about the shoes. She really doesn't have that many pairs of shoes that go with her outfits. She does wear socks when it is cooler but yes playground calls for bare feet and yes church she wears shoes. Guess that is an unwritten rule.
That is amazing that he could figure this out so fast at such a young age! I was impressed that you let him go down the alley and didn't worry if he was going to turn around or stop by himself. Happy birthday tomorrow, big boy!
