Sean: Eight is Great

Sean's day finally came!  We remember that when Ryan was baptized two years ago, Sean really just wanted to get baptized then!  But he had to wait two years!

Here he is all in white and ready to be the most clean.

He got scriptures and a shoulder strap scripture case...he loves them!

Lots of our family who were able to stay for the picture!  We missed lots of our family that day but of course understand we all live very far apart.  We were so thankful to have these family members in town for Sean's special day!

So lucky to have two amazing grandparents with him on his baptism day!

Our family!

For our luncheon we served cold cuts and rolls, chips, strawberries, broccoli salad, a green salad and a greek pasta salad. For dessert we had frosted banana bars and rice krispy treats!

What a special day!  We could all feel the spirit that day. One of our good friends in our ward Andrew was also baptised that day.  I made this Subway Art Print for them...
After the boys were baptised the Sean, Andrew and all of their brothers came to the front and sang, "Army of Helaman."  Which we practiced for months beforehand...and is now Cade's nightly requested song...but he calls it, "Nephi of old."  While Sean and Andrew were drying off and changing we had little note cards for people to write notes to the boys.  Again, such a sweet treasure from his Baptism Day!
Grandma Becky made a baptism book for Sean - slightly altered from the one she had made Ryan...and they enjoyed some quiet time in the days preceeding the baptism discussing some Baptismal preparation ideas!
